Do you enjoy reading? Well if you do there are ways to make reading even books you don't like more enjoyable: reading faster! Everyone wishes they were better at reading once in a while, but few people ever get better after 8th grade! So here are some etips that will increase the speed of your reading, while keeping your comprehension at the same level.
Difficulty: Moderate

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A good book
  • A quiet place
  1.
Choose a place that soothes your soul. This is will make focusing on the book easier and make the story seem more real.
  2.
Try to pick a place that is far from friends and family, as well as any other people that may come into your place of reading. This will eliminate most sound that can distract you, and will better you reading experience.
  3.
Choose a book that really caches your interest. This will get you into the story, which will increase your speed without you even thinking about it!
  4.
Get good sleep at night! If you can focus on the book, then you will read faster by nature. And plus, who doesn't like sleep!
  5.
Even if the book you are reading is one for a school assignment, you can still get into the story. Think, how would you feel if you were the main character? How would you do things differently? Let your mind go wild!
